Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to maintain and improve product quality through both manual and automated testing practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about quality, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of QA concepts including test strategy, test design, defect lifecycle management, and risk-based testing.
- Proficient in testing UI applications on Web, mobile and Tablet devices(IOS and Android)/
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks and tools (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Java.
- Experience with API testing frameworks (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI) and writing automated API tests.
- Solid experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Knowledge of modern software development practices: version control (Git), code reviews, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with performance testing (e.g., JMeter, k6) and security testing fundamentals is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience testing APIs (e.g., using Postman, REST Assured).
