What are we looking for?

• 8+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience leading QA or Test Automation teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing.
• Proven experience testing OutSystems applications, including knowledge of OutSystems architecture, application lifecycle, and deployment processes.
• Solid experience designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with functional, regression, smoke, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with both web and mobile application testing.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA best practices.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments and international delivery teams.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of performance, security, and non-functional testing approaches.
• Experience with DevOps practices and release management processes.
• Experience driving QA governance, defining quality metrics, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you do?

• Define and own the overall QA and Test Automation strategy for a large-scale international digital transformation program.
• Establish test governance, quality standards, testing methodologies, and automation best practices.
• Lead the design, development, maintenance, and execution of automated test suites using Playwright.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks covering functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Ensure appropriate test automation coverage across web and mobile OutSystems applications.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps delivery processes.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Project Managers to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle.
• Review requirements, user stories, and technical designs to identify test scenarios and potential quality risks.
• Lead defect management activities, including root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and report quality metrics, automation coverage, test execution results, and release readiness.
• Coach and mentor QA Engineers and Automation Testers, promoting a quality-first culture.
• Support release planning, deployment validation, and production quality assurance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes, tools, and automation practices.
