Our client is a growing technology company based in California, USA, developing and supporting digital products and software solutions for its customers.

They are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester based in the Philippines to help ensure that their software and digital products are reliable, functional, and meet expected quality standards.

About the Role

You'll help identify software issues, verify functionality, and ensure that products perform as expected before they reach users.

The role involves executing test cases, identifying and documenting bugs, checking fixes, and working closely with team members to maintain software quality. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with software testing processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of software, applications, and digital products

- Execute test cases based on product requirements and expected functionality

- Identify, reproduce, and document bugs, errors, and unexpected behavior

- Conduct functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing

- Document test results and maintain accurate testing records

- Create and maintain detailed bug reports for identified issues

- Verify bug fixes and perform retesting after issues have been resolved

- Review software features to ensure they meet requirements and quality standards

- Check user interfaces, workflows, and functionality for potential issues

- Collaborate with developers and other team members to investigate and resolve software issues

- Monitor product quality and flag recurring or critical issues

- Provide general quality assurance support as needed

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role

- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies

- Experience creating and executing test cases

- Experience identifying, reproducing, and documenting software bugs

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

- Experience working with bug tracking or issue management tools

- Comfortable documenting test results and technical issues

- Good written and spoken English for communicating with a U.S.-based team

- Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

- Willing to work Monday–Friday during U.S. business hours
