We are seeking a Quality Business Systems Director to define and scale DuPont’s global manufacturing quality strategy. Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Excellence, this leader will partner closely with Business Quality Leaders, Business Operational Excellence Directors, Integrated Operations Leaders, and functional partners to improve quality performance, reduce cost of poor quality, and strengthen enterprise-wide capability.
This role is ideal for a quality and operational excellence leader who can connect strategy to execution, influence across a matrixed organization, and build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer focus.
What You'll Do
As the Quality Business Systems Director, you will lead a small global team responsible for developing and deploying quality standards, tools, playbooks, metrics, and capability-building programs that improve customer outcomes and operational performance across DuPont.
You will:
- Define and deploy DuPont’s global manufacturing quality excellence strategy across businesses and manufacturing sites.
- Partner directly with Business Quality Leaders, Business Operational Excellence Directors, Integrated Operations Leaders, and Manufacturing, Engineering, Digital, Automation, and IT leaders to improve end-to-end SQDIP performance.
- Develop and continuously improve global quality standards, toolkits, playbooks, training, and communities of practice.
- Leverage and integrate artificial intelligence to develop/improve quality management approaches and techniques
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and site leaders by facilitating Kaizen events, problem-solving workshops, and transformation initiatives.
- Establish quality performance metrics, analytics, and single sources of truth that enable data-driven decisions from the plant floor to senior leadership.
- Integrate quality excellence practices into the DuPont Business System to create a consistent enterprise approach.
- Build organizational capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer-focused execution.
Why This Role Matters
The Quality Business Systems Director will help shape how DuPont improves quality, reliability, delivery, productivity, and cost across the enterprise.
By working across Operations, Quality, and business leadership, this role will translate business needs into practical standards, capability-building routines, and measurable improvements that strengthen customer confidence and operational performance.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Influence quality performance across multiple global businesses and sites.
- Strengthen the relationship between manufacturing quality COE, business quality leadership, and customer outcomes.
- Build scalable standards, tools, and routines that support quality aligned to the DuPont Business System.
- Develop quality leaders and practitioners through coaching, training, and communities of practice.
- Deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost.

- Demonstrated success leading enterprise or business-level quality, manufacturing, or operational excellence transformation.
- Experience partnering with Business Quality, operations, and functional leaders to improve customer service, reliability, and operational performance.
- Proven ability to influence across a global, matrixed organization and lead through others without relying solely on direct authority.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing technical or subject matter expert teams.

- Experience deploying business systems such as the DuPont Business System, Danaher Business System, Toyota Production System, Honeywell Operating System, or similar frameworks.
- Strong track record of using data, performance metrics, and operational insights to identify losses, prioritize action, and sustain results.

- Results-oriented leader who translates strategy into clear priorities, builds accountability, simplifies work, and removes barriers to execution.
