Job Description Quality Engineer — Remote Be part of a digital transformation initiative within the insurance sector focused on enhancing advisor-facing applications and electronic document management solutions. This opportunity involves contributing to quality engineering activities, automated testing, and integration validation in a collaborative Agile environment supporting critical business platforms. Responsibilities: • Support the Unified Advisor Experience platform related to electronic application and lifecycle tracking and electronic document management. • Build and maintain automated API and integration test suites. • Validate advisor-facing data, application and transaction lifecycle statuses, client statements, and tax documents. • Verify integrations between backend systems and the advisor portal front end. • Perform end-to-end data validation. • Conduct metadata and tagging verification. • Execute entitlement and access-control testing. • Perform regression testing within CI/CD pipelines. • Manage the defect lifecycle. • Collaborate with backend developers within an Agile squad. What you will need to succeed: Required qualifications • Experience with API and integration test automation using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools. • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting using Java, JavaScript, or Python. • Experience performing end-to-end data validation across integrated source systems and front-end API contracts. • Experience designing and executing regression testing within CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and pull request-based workflows. • Experience with Agile quality engineering practices and defect lifecycle management. Preferred qualifications • Experience with performance and load testing. • Experience testing Salesforce integrations. • Experience testing document management integrations, including Alfresco. • Experience in financial services or banking domain testing. • Experience working with Playwright for end-to-end and UI automation. • Experience working with Postman for API test collections and integration testing. • Experience working with JMeter for performance and load testing. • Experience working with CI/CD-integrated automated test suites that generate test reports, screenshots, and logs. • Exposure to improving automation coverage at the orchestration and integration layers, including service-facade and orchestration testing.
