Quality Engineer Position Summary Quality Engineer – Automation is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, validating DevOps Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Pipelines for cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. This role requires strong expertise in software testing, automation engineering, programming, DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and quality processes. The engineer will work closely with DevOps, CloudOps, Product Development and Validation teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality DevOps automations.Responsible for bringing down the overall testing cycle by 50% Clinisys' AI Philosophy Building an AI‑first organisation is central to Clinisys’ purpose and the impact we deliver. Job Responsibilities Regression Test Automation · Design and Implement Regression Test Automation for testing Azure DevOps Pipelines (ADO), Github Actions, Bicep scripts, ARM template and overall cloud deployment quality. · Build automated test suites to Validate Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for build, release, and deployment workflows. · Test Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules including Bicep, ARM templates, and automation scripts. · Perform regression, functional, and integration testing on automated deployment processes. · Validate application deployment packages, installers, and environmental configuration. · Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and automation reliability. Quality Engineering · Design test plans, test cases, and automation scenarios aligned with business requirements. · Design and execute automated and manual tests focused on DevOps workflows. · Perform root cause analysis for pipeline, build, or deployment issues. · Review logs, metrics, alerts, and telemetry to identify quality improvement opportunities. · Validate CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. · Validate application upgrades, migration processes, and rollback mechanisms. · Support release validation and operational readiness activities. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement · Work closely with DevOps, CloudOps, QA, and Development teams to ensure high release quality. · Recommend improvements to automation frameworks, IaC modules, and release validation workflows. · Participate in design reviews for new deployments, pipelines, and infrastructure components. Skillset Requirements Automation & Programming · Strong hands-on experience in test automation engineering. · Deep Experience with PowerShell and Linux shell scripting. · Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C# · Strong hands-on experience validating Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML). · Expertise in testing IaC frameworks such as Bicep (preferred), Terraform, or ARM. · Strong scripting knowledge: PowerShell, Shell, or Python. · Understanding of Azure services (App Services, VMs, Storage, Key Vault, Networking). · Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across CI/CD and Azure cloud workflows. AI-Assisted Quality Engineering · Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-powered testing tools to improve engineering productivity. · Create test automation agents and intelligent validation workflows. · Utilize AI to enhance test generation, defect prediction, and quality analytics. · Drive adoption of AI-powered quality engineering best practices. Testing & Quality Skills · Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. · Ability to design and automate test scenarios for DevOps workflows. · Experience building automated validation checks within pipelines. Soft Skills · Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. · Strong communication and collaboration skills. · High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail. Experience Requirements · 3-6 years in QA Automation experience with at least 3+ years working in DevOps QA/CI-CD quality roles. · Experience with Azure cloud environments. · Agile/Scrum experience. · Azure certifications (AZ‑400, AZ‑104) preferred.
