Quality Engineer

Job Description This is a remote position. Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java + Selenium or Python + Selenium Design and implement API automation using Java/Python with Rest Assured or Requests Build scalable, reusable test scripts for regression testing and feature validation Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless execution Use tools like Datadog and Lens for effective debugging and test monitoring Perform end-to-end functional testing across UI and API layers Design, execute, and maintain test cases for new feature development and regression cycles Identify, log, and manage defects in Jira , using Zephyr for test case management Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams in Agile environments Execute manual testing when needed and provide detailed feedback for quality improvements Proficient in automation languages: Java or Python Hands-on with automation tools: Selenium , Rest Assured , Python Requests Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL ) and NoSQL like MongoDB Skilled in debugging and monitoring using Lens and Datadog Familiar with version control (Git) and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines At Indium, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are core values.
