Job Description
Quality Engineer – Salesforce
Up to £60,000 | Permanent | Warwickshire | Hybrid
There aren't many Quality Engineering roles where the technology you're testing ultimately contributes to the experience of buying one of the world's most recognisable luxury products.
I'm supporting an iconic British luxury manufacturer that's undergoing a significant transformation of its internal technology capability.
As part of that investment, they're looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with strong Salesforce experience to help ensure the reliability and performance of the systems supporting their commercial operations and customer experience.
The opportunity
Salesforce plays a central role in the organisation's commercial technology landscape, with its use continuing to grow across the business.
The environment includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud, alongside integrations with enterprise platforms and other business-critical applications.
You'll take ownership of testing across these systems, working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and business stakeholders to ensure new functionality is thoroughly tested and ready for release.
This is primarily a functional Quality Engineering position, with the opportunity to contribute to the development of automation capabilities as the function evolves.
What you'll be doing
Owning functional, regression and integration testing across Salesforce and associated commercial applications
Testing end-to-end business processes and customer journeys
Validating integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems
Coordinating UAT with business stakeholders
Managing defects, risks and testing priorities
Working closely with Product Owners, BAs, Developers and third-party suppliers
Helping improve testing practices, processes and quality standards
Identifying opportunities to introduce automation as the function develops
What we're looking for
Strong Salesforce testing experience is essential.
We're particularly interested in Quality Engineers who have worked extensively with Salesforce within complex commercial environments, rather than those who've simply had some exposure to the platform.
You'll ideally bring:
Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications, ideally across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud
Strong functional, regression, integration and UAT experience
Experience testing integrations between Salesforce and other business systems
A good understanding of end-to-end commercial and customer processes
Strong defect management and analytical skills
Confidence working directly with business stakeholders
Experience taking ownership of testing rather than simply executing predefined test cases
Automation experience would be useful, but isn't essential. The priority is finding someone with strong functional testing fundamentals and genuine Salesforce knowledge.
Why join?
Beyond the attraction of working for one of Britain's most recognisable brands, there's a significant technology transformation underway.
The organisation is investing in its internal digital capability, bringing more technology expertise in-house and growing its Quality Engineering function.
It's an opportunity to join a business where the connection between the technology you test and the finished customer experience is particularly tangible.
Location & package
Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: Warwickshire
Working arrangement: Hybrid, typically 1–2 days per week on site
Benefits include: Private Healthcare, Exceptional Car Scheme, 12% employer pension (+2 years service) 26 days holiday, early finish Fridays and more
If you're an experienced Salesforce Quality Engineer who enjoys understanding business processes, solving problems and working closely with stakeholders, I'd be very interested in speaking with you.
