Hiring: Retained Hedge Fund & Quant Search | Central London 📈
My client is one of the most respected search firms in the hedge fund and prop trading space. They work with the world's leading multi-strats, quant funds and trading firms, and they're busy.
They work on retainers up to £1.5m, working on leadership roles across the trading space, they're not just slinging PM and Sub-PM cv's hoping they stick.
Track record speaks for itself. People who leave their quant business go to senior in-house BD seats at the top quant firms, on 7-figure packages.
They're hiring across four areas:
🔹 Senior Consultant, Quant
• A strong candidate-side operator from a hedge fund or quant search firm, or an in-house BD/TA seat doing deals in the market
• A genuine path to lead the hedge fund business unit, with leadership potential over the next 5-10 years
• Base up to low £100ks, £400-500k+ TC for top operators
🔹 Practice Lead, Discretionary Trading
• Build out equity long/short, FICC, Delta One or commodities
• Headroom to run your own practice
🔹 Researcher, Technology
• 2-3 years in research or recruitment, working CTO and Head of Engineering searches for their core clients
• Lower volume, bigger fees, and a clear route to Consultant
• £50-70k base
Why them?
• Top tier client access from day one, on searches up to CEO level
• Researchers typically earn £100-200k TC, with examples up to £350k
• Two-thirds of the business is US, with some APAC
• London office with a gym, bar and restaurant, 3-4 days in the office
