Quantitative Analyst | FX & CFDs Industry | WFH

Job Overview: We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst to join our growing Trading & Quantitative Research team based in Cyprus. You will work with financial market data, develop quantitative models, research trading strategies, and build analytical tools to support trading performance, risk management, and execution quality. This role is ideal for someone with strong Python and SQL skills, solid statistical knowledge, and hands-on experience in FX, CFDs, equities, or futures markets. What Will You Do: Develop quantitative models for pricing, execution, and risk management. Analyze financial market data including tick data, order books, trade executions, and historical data. Research and develop systematic trading strategies using statistical and machine learning techniques. Build and maintain back-testing frameworks to evaluate trading strategies. Monitor slippage, spreads, latency, liquidity, and execution quality. Develop risk models covering exposure, VaR, drawdown, and stress testing. Build automated analytical tools and dashboards using Python and SQL. Optimize data pipelines and maintain data quality for quantitative research. Work closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to improve trading systems. Prepare research reports and present quantitative findings to management. What Makes You a Good Fit: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in financial markets, particularly FX, CFDs, Equities, or Futures. Strong Python and SQL skills. Good understanding of statistics, data analysis, and quantitative modelling. Experience with financial market data, trading strategies, or back-testing. Knowledge of machine learning or quantitative research is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
