Location: Remote / Home-Based (UK) – European Travel Required

Salary: £50,000 – £95,000 + Package & Benefits (Assistant to Senior Level posistions available)

The Opportunity

We're working with a leading, highly reputable building envelope contractor specialising in the European data centre market.

With an annual turnover of circa £200m and significant growth forecast over the next 12–18 months, the business has an impressive pipeline of high-profile, mission-critical data centre projects for blue-chip clients across Europe.

Due to continued expansion, they're looking to strengthen their commercial team with Quantity Surveyors at Assistant, Intermediate and Senior levels.

These are excellent opportunities to join an established, financially strong contractor offering genuine career progression, long-term security and exposure to major international projects.

The Role

Depending on your level of experience, you'll be responsible for the commercial management of major building envelope packages, working across projects from inception through to final accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Pre-construction commercial support, cost planning and procurement.
• Commercial management of façade and building envelope packages.
• Subcontractor procurement, management and valuations.
• Managing variations, change control and contractual matters.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and commercial risk management.
• Interim applications, payments and final account negotiations.
• Working closely with project delivery teams and senior management.

Working Arrangements

One of the biggest attractions is the flexibility.

The roles are approximately 80% home-based, offering a great balance between remote working and involvement in major European projects.

You'll need to be self-sufficient, organised and comfortable managing your workload independently, with occasional travel to European project sites and the company's head office.

Flexibility to travel when required is essential.

What We're Looking For

• Quantity Surveyors at Assistant, Intermediate or Senior level.
• Ideally experience within façades, cladding, curtain walling or the wider building envelope sector.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts.
• Experience managing projects through the commercial lifecycle, appropriate to your level.
• Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working remotely.
• Willingness to travel across Europe when required.

Previous data centre experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
