RabbitMQ Engineer (Active IRS MBI Required)

Job Description This is a remote position. Job Title: RabbitMQ Engineer (IRS – Active IRS MBI Required) Location: Remote. Duration: Full-Time We are seeking a skilled RabbitMQ Engineer to support an IRS program. The ideal candidate will have experience managing RabbitMQ environments and supporting enterprise messaging solutions. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain RabbitMQ environments. Manage queues, exchanges, users, permissions, and messaging services. Monitor system health and resolve messaging issues. Work with development teams to support application integrations. Perform upgrades, maintenance, and performance tuning. Ensure messaging systems meet security and reliability standards. Requirements: 5+ years of experience with RabbitMQ. Strong understanding of AMQP and messaging concepts. Experience with RabbitMQ clustering and high availability. Knowledge of Linux and scripting. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Active IRS MBI clearance is required. Previous IRS or federal experience is preferred.
