R&D Project Manager

About the role

As an R&D Project Manager, you manage research projects in a complex connected computing environment. You translate high-level objectives into clear scope, milestones, deliverables and practical execution plans in close collaboration with technical teams.

You balance project needs, available resources and priorities while keeping stakeholders aligned. Your role combines structured project management, risk follow-up and pragmatic coordination across system-level R&D activities.

Key responsibilities

• Clarify project requirements and scope before project engagement

• Define work breakdown structures from high-level plans in collaboration with the project team

• Assess required resources, milestones, deliverables, team composition and dependencies for research projects

• Monitor project progress against the approved plan, including key deliverables, critical progress and resource dashboards

• Identify issues and risks, estimate their impact and escalate when needed

What we're looking for

We are looking for a structured and communicative project manager with a strong R&D background, solid technical understanding and the ability to connect teams, stakeholders and customer needs.

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a relevant STEM discipline, with around 10 years of experience

• Knowledge of computer architecture and experience in system-level R&D projects

• Extensive track record in project and change management, using common methodologies, processes and techniques pragmatically

• Experience with modeling of large-scale systems and their components is considered a plus

• Strong networking, communication and presentation skills, with a customer-focused and result-oriented mindset

• Fluent in English is mandatory
