Make an impact with Laerdal!

Do you want to develop cutting-edge products that train healthcare professionals and ultimately help save lives? Join us at Laerdal Copenhagen, where we build world-class digital learning solutions used by millions globally.

The Team

We are building new capabilities for RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement) that help hospitals run CPR training the way their organisation actually works. That means connecting the training station to the learning systems hospitals already use, removing the friction between a learner walking up to the cart and starting a session, and giving the people who implement RQI the tools to configure it for their own context. You'll help shape these capabilities and weave them into one cohesive experience. In that way, your work will directly expand access to CPR training and support Laerdal's mission to help save more lives.

We work close to our customers: we visit hospitals, test our assumptions and build on modern technology, with an eye on where resuscitation training is heading next. You will work in a cross-functional product team in Laerdal Copenhagen with product management, design and engineering, as well as with other product teams across Copenhagen, Stavanger, and the US. The team owns the core platform capabilities and collaborates closely with partners across the wider RQI ecosystem.

The Role

We are looking for a React Frontend Engineer with experience building modern web and mobile applications. In this role, you will take ownership of the key user-facing flows of the platform.

You will,

  • experiment, build and maintain web and mobile user interfaces using React and React Native
  • collaborate closely with backend engineers on API design and data flows
  • work closely with product managers and designers to translate user needs into intuitive frontend experiences
  • contribute to the frontend architecture, patterns, and technical direction
  • work in a "you build it, you run it" mindset with responsibility for production quality

Your Background

  • Around 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience with React in production systems
  • Hands-on experience with React Native and mobile development
  • Understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance considerations
  • Care deeply about usability, quality, and real user impact
  • Enjoy close collaboration with designers and product managers
  • Actively using AI-assisted development in your daily work

Our Tech Stack

  • React (Web) & React Native (Mobile)
  • C# / .NET Backend
  • API‑driven integrations
  • Cloud‑based infrastructure & modern CI/CD practices

Why Laerdal

Laerdal is a mission‑driven company working to help save one million more lives, every year, by 2030 (One Million Lives by Laerdal: A Shared Goal for 2030 - Laerdal - One Million Lives). You’ll be part of a collaborative, international environment with a strong focus on product quality, real‑world impact, and sustainable work–life balance.

We have a collaborative and diverse environment with lots of passion and energy. Our workplace is friendly and casual, located in an old warehouse close to Islands Brygge.

This is a full‑time role based at Laerdal's office in Copenhagen. We expect most workdays to be spent on‑site, with some flexibility for remote work during the week. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work closely with senior peers across engineering, product, and design.
