Our Asset Manager Services team helps asset managers manage the operational demands and complexity that come with growth. Combining specialist expertise with scalable technology, we act as an extension of our clients’ teams, supporting the needs of their businesses, funds, portfolio assets and investors.

As part of the team, you’ll work with colleagues to help clients navigate operational challenges, manage risk and build efficient, resilient operations. You’ll contribute to services that reduce the day-to-day burden on asset managers, giving them more time to focus on their investors, investment performance and growth.

Purpose of the Job

As Manager, Accounting (Private Equity & Real Estate), you will lead the delivery of high-quality accounting services across a portfolio of clients and client entities, ensuring an exceptional client experience and consistent service excellence. You will oversee and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing leadership, technical guidance, and support to foster a high-performing and collaborative culture.

Working closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of accounting and fund accounting services, driving operational efficiency, promoting process automation, and ensuring compliance with Ocorian's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will also act as a key escalation point for client matters, helping to build trusted relationships and deliver positive outcomes for both clients and the business.

Main Responsibilities

• Be the trusted partner for a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate clients, building strong relationships and delivering an outstanding client experience.
• Take ownership of fund accounting and reporting activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients, auditors, and internal teams to provide seamless service and practical solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team, creating an environment where people can learn, grow, and thrive.
• Balance priorities effectively, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high standards and supporting team wellbeing.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying smarter ways of working and embracing innovation and technology.
• Proactively manage risks, resolve challenges, and act as a trusted escalation point for clients and colleagues.
• Contribute to the growth of the business by strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value.
• Lead with integrity, accountability, and professionalism, while championing Ocorian's collaborative and inclusive culture.

• ACCA/ACA fully qualified.
• Finance Industry and or Accounting/Auditing experience with exposure to Global Businesses.
• At least 7 years’ post qualification experience

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Knowledge and experience of Fund accounting PE / RE Funds is a must and Fund Administration is desirable.
• Proven knowledge of PE and RE Fund accounting and reporting, waterfall calculations and IFRS
• Strong IT skills with proven working knowledge of Paxus, eFront as well, as of advanced Excel is must.
• Strong knowledge of dedicated fund accounting software like PAXUS and EFRONT and willingness to learn and master them as well as Value Financials software.
• Proven people management/ supervisory skills with at least 3 years of experience at management level
