About the Role
Join a Florida-based commercial law firm's real estate practice as a mid-level associate, supporting sophisticated transactions across the state. You will work closely with experienced attorneys on complex matters involving developers, investors, and other real estate clients.
What You'll Do
Handle transactional real estate work involving acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related instruments.
Work with partners and practice group leaders on developer-focused transactions and client matters.
Advise on complex projects, including mixed-use developments, condominium redevelopment, transit-oriented projects, and cross-border investment.
Support Florida real estate matters referred by out-of-state law firms, including local counsel engagements.
What We're Looking For
Three to six years of sophisticated transactional real estate experience at a major law firm or strong regional firm.
A JD from an accredited U.S. law school, strong academic credentials, and eligibility to sit for the Florida Bar. Florida Bar admission is not required at hire.
Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and financing, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and leases.
Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients.
Experience with leasing, development, hospitality transactions, or developer-oriented deal flow is beneficial.
U.S. citizenship or a U.S. Green Card is required.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $240,000 to $365,000 annually, depending on experience. The role is eligible for a year-end bonus upon meeting a 1,900 billable-hour target. Relocation assistance and Florida Bar costs are covered for out-of-market hires. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid role based in Miami, Florida.
