Real Estate Paralegal - full time or part time We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support a U.S. law firm with residential and commercial real estate matters. This is a fully remote role for a legal professional with strong transactional experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage documents, deadlines, closings, and client communication from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Support attorneys with residential and commercial real estate transactions. Prepare and review contracts, addenda, deeds, affidavits, closing documents, and related legal forms. Assist with purchase and sale transactions, refinances, leases, and other real estate matters. Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, real estate agents, opposing counsel, and other parties. Order, review, and organize title searches, lien searches, surveys, and supporting documentation. Assist with title and closing preparation, including resolving documentation issues and tracking outstanding requirements. Prepare closing statements, settlement documents, and transaction checklists. Track deadlines, contingencies, inspection periods, financing dates, and closing dates. Maintain accurate and organized digital transaction files. Prepare and coordinate recording of deeds, mortgages, satisfactions, and other real estate documents. Assist attorneys with due diligence for commercial real estate transactions. Support lease preparation, review, amendments, renewals, and related documentation. Communicate directly with clients to collect documents, provide updates, and coordinate next steps. Work within the firm's case management, title, and document management systems. Follow established firm procedures and quality standards. Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Paralegal, Lawyer, or Attorney. Minimum 2 years of experience working with a real estate law firm in the United States. Strong hands-on experience with U.S. residential and/or commercial real estate transactions. Experience preparing and reviewing real estate contracts and closing documents. Experience coordinating real estate closings from contract through post-closing. Familiarity with title searches, lien searches, surveys, deeds, mortgages, and recording requirements. Experience communicating with title companies, lenders, brokers, clients, and opposing counsel. Strong understanding of transaction deadlines and closing procedures. Strong legal drafting and document preparation skills. Experience working directly with U.S. attorneys and clients. Experience with legal, title, or real estate transaction management software. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 or comparable cloud-based business tools. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
