Make a real impact  

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Real Estate Tax Advisor to join our team in Athens.  

• Advise a broad array of real estate owners, developers and investors institutional real estate funds managed by investment banks or other financial institutions and privately held real estate entities on a wide range of tax issues arising from the acquisition, ownership, exploitation, restructuring, and disposal of real estate assets, ensuring compliance with the applicable tax legislation and regulatory framework.

• Analyze and interpret tax legislation, administrative guidance, and relevant case law.

• Review and prepare tax filings, declarations, and supporting documentation.

• Participate in tax due diligence and real estate transaction projects.

• Provide calculations for objective value of real estate property.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including legal, tax, and accounting professionals.

• Conduct tax research and prepare technical memoranda, reports, and client presentations.

What you bring matters  

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting & Finance, Economics from a top-tier university

• Postgraduate degree in Taxation will be considered a strong asset

• Master’s degree (LL M or similar title) will be considered a strong asset  

• 1 – 4 years of post-admission experience at a law or consulting firm or notarial office with focus on Real Estate taxation matters

• Admission to Athens Bar or other Lawyers’ Bar in Greece  

• Experience in handling objective value calculation software, E9 returns, ENFIA calculations

• Interest in having a career in tax

• Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner, (both in English and Greek)

• Experience in project management in the sense that we are looking to see proven ability to organize, prioritize and produce work within a faced paced environment with diverse clients, projects and team-members  

• Collaborative and consultative team player, with confident and positive attitude, who possesses an ability to work well both independently and in a team environment; 

• Excellent legal and business analytical skills  

• Positivity, motivation and strong interpersonal skills
