Position Title: Records Management System (RMS) Architect Location: Remote Join Us: Our mission is to make an impact within communities by providing the knowledge, resources and innovative solutions delivered through an alliance of Information Technology Integrators, Independent Software Vendors, and Cloud Providers with a common vision in resolving critical challenges directly impacting citizens. Position Overview: The RMS Architect is a customer facing role responsible for overseeing the configuration and business process analysis across a variety of public sector agencies. The qualified candidate will work on a variety of products such as Reporting, Case Management, Evidence and Warrants. This position operates in a consultative capacity to ensure product features, workflows, and technical configurations are defined and tested for each agency and helps train agencies on best practices within the RMS product suite. This position requires roughly 50% travel. Core Responsibilities • Establish processes to deliver RMS best practices • Oversee the RMS implementation • Oversee end-to-end testing of RMS workstreams, integrations, and hardware components • Clearly define company and customer roles and responsibilities for the delivery and maintenance of RMS products • Work with various stakeholders to help guide product adoption • Work with the training and marketing teams to ensure new features are successfully deployed and understood • Gather product feedback and work with internal teams to help establish development priorities • Work with internal teams to convey key metrics and project risks to assist in staffing, budgeting, and future team planning • Work with the Training team to update training materials to deliver an outstanding training experience Experience, Education, and Certifications • Associates degree or higher in relevant coursework required • 5+ years of experience as a product consultant or public safety employee preferred; 2+ years required • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Experience developing, communicating, and training on best practices and workflows • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and Google applications •Strong technical skills and the ability to learn new systems and products • ISO 9001:2015 internal training to be completed within ninety (90) days of hire. Physical Requirements: Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 20% of the time. The work environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are reasonable. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Require use of multiple computer monitors and software programs simultaneously, desk phone, mouse and keyboard.
