Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Human Resources Associate, the Recruitment Intern will assist the Recruitment and Recruitment Marketing teams with various tasks and assignments. The incumbent will gain a thorough understanding of full cycle recruiting within a Human Resources department to successfully support an organization and its employees.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree program with at least one semester remaining to complete all degree requirements following the internship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Some experience using Canva or other graphic design tools
- Understanding marketing principles and standards using social media platforms
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Comfortability using various communication applications such as phone, email, and communication (messaging) platforms

Job Duties
The Recruitment Intern will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Assist the Recruitment team with search committee kickoff meetings, candidate application qualification, interview scheduling, candidate correspondence, Talent Acquisition Software database maintenance, and other special projects as needed
- Assist the Recruitment Marketer with preparing for Career Fairs and other recruitment initiatives which includes strategic planning, outreach, creating marketing materials, and other special programs such as information sessions
- Assist the Human Resources team with new hire orientations and other onboarding tasks as needed
- Analyze current departmental processes for potential opportunities to increase efficiency and impact, offering suggestions and providing research to support your thought process
- Collaborate with our Recruitment Marketer on Handshake campaigns, social media posts, and other outreach opportunities. This includes creating digital content, written campaigns, and talent pipeline strategies
- Provide general assistance to the department as needed and perform other duties as assigned
- Minimal travel to local career fairs as necessary
