This is a remote position.

Location: Remote
Engagement Type: Project-Based Assignment | B2B Contract
Duration: 6 months, with possible extension
Timezone: CET ±3 hours


One of our clients is looking for a Red Hat OpenShift Administrator to support and maintain its Red Hat OpenShift environment. The role is primarily focused on platform administration, operational support, system maintenance, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the OpenShift infrastructure.

Key Deliverables

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift environments.
  • Perform platform configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of OpenShift platforms.
  • Support deployment and operational activities across containerised environments.
  • Manage user access, authentication, and platform governance.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor system health and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide documentation and operational support for platform-related processes.
  • Support Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments where required.


    • Requirements

    Ideal Profile

    • At least 5 years of experience in similar role
    • Proven experience administering Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
    • Experience with platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
    • Good understanding of container technologies and platform operations.
    • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Shell, Python, or similar).
    • Knowledge of platform security, patch management, and system administration best practices.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    • OpenShift cluster administration experience.
    • Kubernetes administration and support experience.
    • Exposure to platform engineering practices.
    • Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and container deployment pipelines.
    • Relevant Red Hat certifications are advantageous.
