Opportunity Overview

Our client is an organic-growth agency specialising in GEO/AEO and traditional SEO. The agency is looking for a dedicated Reddit Marketer to build its presence in relevant online communities, beginning with Reddit and potentially expanding to Quora and other forums. This is a focused community-marketing role, not a broad marketing-coordinator position. This is a full-time, remote role, working Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM (UK Hours).

Role Description

As Reddit Marketer, you will help our client build trusted, client-owned Reddit profiles and participate meaningfully in relevant communities. You will create useful, audience-first contributions, understand each community's rules and tone, and avoid spammy or overly promotional activity. You will track engagement and share clear updates with the founder, adapting the approach as the business grows. There may be opportunities to extend this work to Quora and other forums.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Research - Identify relevant subreddits and understand their rules, audience interests and contribution norms.
• Organic Participation - Write and publish helpful posts and comments that add value to conversations and build credibility without spam or misleading promotion.
• Account Development - Build and manage client-owned Reddit profiles through consistent, genuine participation and in line with platform and community rules.
• Performance Tracking - Monitor activity and report on useful measures such as upvote ratio, engagement and community response.
• Approach Improvement - Use results and community feedback to refine topics, formats and participation plans.
• Client Collaboration - Work directly with the founder, communicate professionally and integrate with our client's processes.
• Future Channel Expansion - Support activity on Quora and other forums as priorities develop.

Minimum Qualifications

• Reddit Marketing Experience - Hands-on experience with organic Reddit marketing, community participation or Reddit account growth.
• Community Judgement - Strong understanding of Reddit rules and community norms, with sound judgement about when and how a brand should participate.
• Account-Growth Evidence - Ability to demonstrate a credible track record of building engaged, high-karma Reddit profiles through authentic activity.
• Excellent English - Strong written English for a US-focused audience, with clear and professional communication.
• Reporting - Able to track engagement and explain results clearly.
• Reliability - Able to work independently and maintain consistent availability during the agreed UK-hours schedule.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forum Experience - Experience marketing on Quora or other discussion forums.
• SEO or Agency Background - Familiarity with SEO, organic growth or working with an agency.
• US Audience Experience - Experience communicating with US communities or adapting content for US audiences.
