About the opportunity

Join QIAGEN's Global Commercial Operations team as a Regional Business Manager for Digital PCR (dPCR) and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). In this highly visible commercial role, you will drive business growth, market expansion, and technology adoption across Eastern Europe, Israel and Central Asia (Kazakhstan/ Uzbekhistan) through a network of distributor and channel partners.

Working at the intersection of genomics, molecular biology, and business development, you will build strategic partnerships, identify new market opportunities, and support the successful commercialization of innovative dPCR and NGS solutions across life sciences research, translational research, biopharma, clinical diagnostics, public health, and emerging genomics applications. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in accelerating revenue growth and strengthening QIAGEN's market position across the region.

Your tasks

  • Drive sustainable growth of the dPCR and NGS portfolio through distributor and channel partner management across the assigned markets.

  • Develop and execute joint business plans, including sales targets, pipeline generation activities, partner enablement initiatives, and market development strategies.

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across research, biopharma, clinical, public health, and emerging genomics market segments.

  • Manage sales performance, forecasting, pipeline reviews, and commercial growth plans to achieve regional revenue objectives.

  • Enable distributor sales and application teams through product training, coaching, value proposition development, and commercial guidance.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Applications, R&D, and Commercial teams to support product launches, demand generation, and market expansion initiatives.

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments while providing actionable business insights and recommendations to global stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Master's degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.

  • Several years of experience in business development, sales, channel management, or commercial operations within life sciences, genomics, molecular diagnostics, or biotechnology.

  • Proven experience working successfully with distributors or indirect sales channels across multiple international markets.

  • Strong knowledge of PCR and/or NGS technologies and applications; exposure to digital PCR solutions is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated success in developing strategic partnerships, delivering commercial growth, and managing complex sales opportunities.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both scientific and business audiences.

  • Fluent English language skills and willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region; additional European language skills would be advantageous. Ideally based within Austria or Poland, other locations will be considered where possible.
