A Regional Director is needed to join The Legal Director, an established and expanding legal services business giving companies access to experienced fractional General Counsel without the cost of employing a full time Legal Director.
This is a newly created commercial role with serious scope. Based remotely you'll be given the freedom to build a regional market, develop your own network and turn relationships into long term clients. As the first Regional Director appointment, you'll also help shape how the role develops nationally, with plans to introduce further Regional Directors across the UK as the model grows.
At the heart of the role is new business. You'll get out into your market, build relationships with business owners and senior decision makers, develop productive referral partnerships, attend relevant networking events and personally lead opportunities from first conversation through to proposal and close. You should be the type of person who is comfortable leading sales conversations, closing leads and building repeatable commercial results.
You'll also work closely with TLD's experienced lawyers, identifying opportunities within existing relationships and helping create a strong commercial presence across your region. This is a remote role, but definitely not a desk based one. Expect regular meetings, events, networking and time spent building relationships face to face.
Legal experience is not essential. What matters is a proven ability to create opportunities, earn trust and win relationship driven B2B business within a professional environment.
To qualify: You might be a B2B Sales Professional, Business Development Director, Senior Recruitment Consultant, Sales Director, Professional Services Sales Executive, Business Owner or similar with a CV that demonstrates
- A strong record of generating and closing new B2B business
- Experience selling professional, advisory or relationship led services
- Confidence networking with business owners and senior leadership teams
- Evidence of building referral relationships and partnerships that generate genuine opportunities
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills
- The autonomy and discipline to manage your own territory, pipeline and activity
- Strong commercial judgement, resilience and follow through
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
In return, you'll receive a £50,000 basic salary with the opportunity to earn up to £100,000 Y1 OTE. More importantly, you'll have the freedom to build a territory almost from the ground up, backed by an established national business, experienced lawyers and central marketing, finance and operational support. For someone who enjoys opening doors, building networks and owning results, this is a rare opportunity to make a role genuinely your own.
