Kinema Fitness | Boston, MA
Work arrangement: Primarily onsite hybrid role
Travel: Up to 25% out of state, as needed
Kinema Fitness is a national fitness management company providing onsite fitness and wellness solutions to corporate facilities across the country. We are seeking an experienced Regional Director to oversee our assigned Boston-area fitness centers, develop our onsite teams, and strengthen client relationships.
This role requires a hands-on leader who combines operational discipline with strong communication and independent judgment. You should be comfortable identifying problems, gathering information, developing solutions, and following through without waiting for step-by-step direction.
Work Location and Travel
This position requires regular, in-person involvement across assigned fitness centers. You must be able to commute easily into Boston and should expect to spend most workdays at a site. Working from home is available as responsibilities and operational needs allow.
You must also be available for out-of-state travel when requested, up to 25% as needed, to support site operations, teams, and company initiatives.
What You Will Do
Lead and Develop Teams
You take ownership of results. When an issue arises, you investigate, ask focused questions, use available resources, and recommend a path forward. You can work through unfamiliar challenges, adjust when circumstances change, and close the loop.
You also know when to involve leadership. You raise concerns early, communicate their impact, and bring recommendations whenever possible. You help your managers build the same habits.
This posting outlines the general responsibilities and qualifications of the role. Responsibilities may be adjusted based on business and operational needs.
