Perks & Benefits That Matter Health care package Work from home 2 days a week from our Budapest office Permanent trainings Office in a very central location with easy access by public transport Excellent career prospects within a multinational organization with leading position in the market and ambitious expansion plans Supportive teams Opportunity to work in a dynamic, stable, and international environment How You’ll Make an Impact: The Regional Head of Accounting Leads and oversees regional accounting operations through Chief Accountants; drives efficiency, standardization, and best practices across the region Collaborates with other teams and financial professionals Leads, coaches, and develops Chief Accountants; sets direction, priorities, and performance expectations; builds high‑performing accounting teams Oversees and standardizes close processes across entities; ensures timely, accurate, and predictable closes Ensures standardized reconciliation framework, quality thresholds, and review practices across the region Ensures consistent, high‑quality statutory reporting across countries; aligns local GAAP practices and timelines Oversees tax processes with Corporate Tax; ensures consistency, risk management, and process efficiency. Oversees audit processes; ensures audit readiness, consistency, and issue resolution across entities Drives harmonized internal control framework; identifies systemic gaps and leads remediation initiatives Core responsibility: identifies efficiency opportunities, drives process improvements, increases standardization, and implements best practices regionally Works closely with Corporate Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, Tax What Makes You a Great Fit: University degree ACCA or equivalent 8–10+ years accounting experience Audit experience Prior manager of managers experienxe International/multi‑country experience Strong process transformation background Advanced Excel; fluent English What Will Help You Thrive: Hard-working and can-do attitude People management experience Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, detail-oriented approach Team player attitude as you can really contribute to team success
