Human by nature. R egional HUB Transport Team Lead - Your future position? In this role, you will be responsible for the Road Hub team which performs Logistics/ Road Transport related activities. You will ensure accurate processing of all daily Road Transport related activities for assigned team, in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements. You will act as a main point of contact for the Local shipping and Customer Care Front office teams regarding the daily operative questions and issues. Responsibilities: Actively work to continuously improve processes and creates strong morale and spirit in the team, while supervising their day to day operations Lay out work in an organized manner and monitors progress and results Monitor expedite cost budget with local CC teams, develop and maintain key transport regional reports and support the set-up and supervise the Road Hub team at the new/pilot sites implementation Monitor the express /expedite shipment flow on a daily basis Identify and possibly solve process gaps (in accordance with CI expectations) and support the Manager in implementing and maintaining the CI Road map expectations Provide solution for process alignments among team and transport teams of local sites Raise issues to first point of escalation at road transport companies within shortest time Update and maintain ISO documentation where required Properly identify the right communication method based on the urgency and issue Be in charge of reporting the carrier KPIs on a monthly basis Update and use the Visual Performance Management tools and ensure performance improvement Build and maintains seamless cooperation with existing and new carrier companies, with cross functional teams and stakeholders Provide professional support for the team: Coach team members, set goals, evaluate skill development, develop individual action plans and train team as needed Issue resolution for Transport deviations Your profile: 4+ years of experience in Supply chain, Logistics, Planning or similar Strong CI and project management mindset Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent Proficient in Business English, additional languages is a plus Good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools, SAP is a plus Relevant process experience, strong logistics management skills on transport area Knowledge of Transport Complaint methods (PDCA) Understanding of incoterms and shipping terminology Our Benefits: Great compensation package with additional benefits, such as cafeteria Private health insurance Opportunity to work from home 3-4 days per week, supporting your work–life balance Travel reimbursement when commuting from outside the Budapest urban area The opportunity to continuously grow and develop via online and on-site trainings Free language courses Access to exclusive perfumes and an employee shop with significant discounts Recognition and referral programs Team buildings and company events #LI-Hybrid At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
