Lead a Team. Shape the Future. Drive Growth.

Are you an experienced leader within financial planning or wealth management, looking for an opportunity to make a genuine impact?

Titan Wealth is seeking a Regional Manager to lead a team of circa 20 Financial Planners across the Norwich region. This is a high-profile leadership role, combining adviser development, commercial performance, client excellence and the successful integration of newly acquired businesses as we continue our ambitious growth journey.

You'll be responsible for leading experienced advisers through periods of change, creating a high-performance culture, supporting adviser development at every career stage, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients.

Based from our Norwich office for approximately two days per week, this is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing wealth management businesses at a pivotal stage of its growth.

We are looking for a proven people leader with strong financial planning or wealth management experience, a track record of managing sizeable adviser teams, and experience leading through complex organisational change and integration activity.

A highly competitive remuneration package is available, alongside the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future success of Titan Wealth.

Purpose of the role

Lead the performance, development and successful integration of Financial Planners across the region, creating an environment in which advisers at every stage of their career can develop, perform and remain engaged with Titan.

The Regional Manager will lead a diverse team, from junior and developing advisers to highly experienced and long-serving professionals. They will adapt their leadership approach to individual needs, helping newer advisers build confidence and capability while ensuring senior advisers remain valued, motivated, appropriately challenged and connected to the future direction of the business.

The role becomes involved as an acquisition moves from the M&A team into Distribution at the point of handover and integration. The Regional Manager then takes day-to-day leadership responsibility for welcoming and supporting incoming advisers, while working constructively with former owners who may be retiring, transitioning out or remaining involved for an agreed period.

The Regional Manager will deliver sustainable commercial growth, exceptional client outcomes and high professional standards while championing Titan’s proposition, values and culture.

Key Responsibilities

Adviser leadership, development and retention

  • Lead, coach and develop advisers at every career stage, from junior and newly qualified advisers through to senior and highly experienced Financial Planners.

  • Adapt leadership, coaching and communication to each adviser’s experience, capability, motivation and career objectives.

  • Establish clear development pathways supporting technical competence, commercial performance, leadership potential and long-term career progression.

  • Work with the Titan Adviser Academy, Training and Competence, and relevant support teams to create structured development opportunities and succession plans.

  • Ensure every adviser has meaningful objectives and a practical personal development plan that is reviewed regularly.

  • Maintain the engagement of senior and long-serving advisers by recognising their experience, involving them appropriately and providing autonomy alongside clear accountability.

  • Identify and address factors that could lead to the loss of valued advisers, taking proactive steps to improve engagement and retention.

  • Create opportunities for experienced advisers to contribute through mentoring, technical support, client leadership and colleague development.

  • Promote a culture in which advisers feel listened to, respected and able to challenge constructively.

  • Deal promptly and fairly with capability, conduct and performance concerns, working with Training and Competence, HR and senior leadership as appropriate.

  • Acquisition handover and integration

  • Take responsibility for the people and adviser aspects of integration following the formal handover from the M&A team into Distribution.

  • Work with the M&A team and relevant stakeholders to ensure a clear, structured handover covering the acquired firm’s advisers, clients, culture, working practices, commitments and key integration considerations.

  • Welcome incoming advisers into the regional structure, build trusted relationships and provide visible leadership through the transition.

  • Help new advisers understand Titan’s strategy, proposition, standards, support model and expectations, while recognising the heritage and strengths of the acquired business.

  • Work sensitively and constructively with former owners who may be retiring, transitioning out of the business or remaining involved for an agreed period.

  • Clarify roles, responsibilities and decision-making during transition, particularly where a former owner remains influential.

  • Use confidence and judgement to manage strong personalities, established loyalties, differing expectations and resistance to change.

  • Support advisers through changes to systems, processes, propositions, charging structures, governance and ways of working.

  • Identify adviser, client and commercial retention risks after handover and ensure actions are agreed, owned and followed through.

  • Maintain adviser engagement, client service and commercial momentum throughout integration.

  • Act as the visible link between the newly acquired team, the regional structure and the wider Titan Group.

  • Work with central teams to monitor integration progress, resolve issues and embed acquired advisers successfully within Distribution.

  • Commercial and client leadership

  • Deliver agreed regional revenue, new business, client retention and organic growth objectives.

  • Ensure commercial objectives are achieved through appropriate client outcomes and sustainable adviser behaviours.

  • Embed Titan’s core proposition while ensuring advisers exercise appropriate professional judgement in meeting individual client needs.

  • Ensure consistently high standards of personalised financial planning advice and client service.

  • Encourage effective collaboration and cross-referral across the wider Titan Group.

  • Lead business development activity with support from the Business Development Team and help advisers build sustainable pipelines and professional connections.

  • Use management information to identify opportunities, emerging risks and areas requiring intervention.

  • Ensure newly integrated teams maintain client contact, service standards and commercial momentum.

  • Performance, risk and regulatory leadership

  • Set clear, SMART and appropriately challenging objectives, reviewing progress through regular one-to-ones and performance reviews.

  • Work alongside the Training and Competence Manager to maintain compliance with key performance indicators and wider performance measures.

  • Ensure advisers operate within Titan’s governance, risk and compliance framework.

  • Address performance or conduct concerns consistently, fairly and without unnecessary delay.

  • Maintain effective internal relationships so client work flows smoothly through the advice process.

  • Create an environment in which colleagues feel safe to challenge practice and suggest improvements.

  • Culture, communication and regional leadership

  • Provide visible, accessible and consistent leadership across the region.

  • Communicate business decisions clearly and credibly, including where decisions may be challenging or unpopular.

  • Represent adviser feedback accurately and constructively to senior leadership.

  • Encourage advisers to share experience and best practice across legacy businesses and regional teams.

  • Lead change with empathy, pace and clarity, ensuring people understand what is changing and why.
