What you’ll do:
Job Summary:
The Regional Manufacturing Excellence Leader reports to the Director, Manufacturing Excellence and serves as the primary regional resource for deployment, adoption, and sustainment of Eaton's manufacturing operating system and operational excellence capabilities. This role partners directly with plant leadership teams to deliver training, coaching, implementation support, and validation activities that drive consistent execution of enterprise manufacturing standards. The position acts as a trusted advisor to manufacturing sites, helping leaders build capability, improve operational maturity, and accelerate achievement of performance objectives through effective application of manufacturing excellence principles. The ideal candidate combines plant leadership credibility, teaching capability, systems thinking, change leadership, disciplined capability building, and deployment management, and measures success by building sites that sustain EPS on their own.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the regional deployment leader for Eaton Production System (EPS) and associated manufacturing excellence programs across assigned businesses and manufacturing sites.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of the complete EPS framework, including its procedure, governance model, tools, and supporting playbooks.
- Explain how EPS connects functional standards and systems without replacing functional ownership.
- Translate evolving EPS requirements into practical expectations for Plant Managers, functional leaders, and operating teams.
- Maintain alignment among EPS, OpA transition requirements, ECIS, EBS, and relevant functional systems.
- Deliver training programs, workshops, and capability-building sessions that develop manufacturing excellence knowledge and skills within plant leadership and operational teams.
- Lead train-the-trainer deployment: identify, train, coach, and qualify site and divisional EPS coaches.
- Build the capability of Plant Managers, functional leaders, value stream leaders, and local coaches through hands-on coaching that supports successful implementation and sustainment of manufacturing excellence practices.
- Conduct site assessments, maturity evaluations, and readiness reviews to identify gaps, opportunities, and actions required to achieve performance and deployment objectives.
- Lead validation activities to ensure manufacturing standards, operating system requirements, and implementation milestones are consistently achieved and sustained.
- Support sites during implementation activities by identifying barriers, recommending corrective actions, and facilitating problem-solving efforts.
- Partner with site leadership teams to develop deployment roadmaps and improvement plans aligned with business priorities and operational objectives.
- Drive sites toward EPS self-sufficiency so plant execution is owned locally by plant leadership and site coaches rather than by the Regional Manager.
- Monitor site performance metrics and deployment progress, providing insights and recommendations to improve operational effectiveness and accelerate results.
- Facilitate sharing of best practices, lessons learned, and successful implementation approaches across manufacturing sites within the region.
- Collaborate with Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, Supply Chain, Engineering, Human Resources, and Information Technology teams to ensure integrated deployment of manufacturing excellence initiatives.
- Support validation gate reviews and provide recommendations regarding site progression through deployment phases.
- Escalate systemic issues, deployment risks, and improvement opportunities to Manufacturing Excellence leadership to support continuous evolution of enterprise standards and methodologies.
- Act as a change champion, helping plant leaders change leadership and operating routines and promoting standard work, continuous improvement behaviors, and operational excellence culture across the network.
Qualifications:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and/or lean transformation.

- Experience working directly with Plant Managers and plant leadership teams.
- Demonstrated experience implementing manufacturing operating systems, lean transformation initiatives, and/or operational excellence programs.
- Demonstrated success driving changes to leadership and operating routines.
- Experience leading training, coaching, and capability-development activities, including train-the-trainer and/or capability-building initiatives.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

- Experience facilitating workshops and leading cross-functional improvement activities.
- Knowledge of change management and deployment methodologies.
- Ability to influence stakeholders within a matrix organization.
Skills:
- Strong coaching and facilitation capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to learn and explain complex operating-system concepts in simple language.
- Ability to build credibility and trust with site leadership teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective project and deployment management capabilities.
- Ability to lead through influence without direct authority.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
