About American Dental Companies (ADC)

At American Dental Companies, we are actively reshaping the dental group landscape by bridging the gap between local private practice culture and centralized enterprise support. Built on our core pillars of Patient Care, Team Care, and Business Care, ADC empowers partner doctors and clinical teams by lifting administrative and operational burdens so they can focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences.

As we accelerate our multi-state expansion across the Southeast (Florida, Georgia) and prepare for upcoming market launches (Texas), we are seeking a results-driven, highly accountable Regional Manager to lead practice operations, elevate financial performance, and cultivate high-integrity practice cultures across our regional network.

The Role: What You'll Do

As a Regional Manager at ADC, you are the executive operational leader driving practice growth, profitability, and leadership development across your assigned territory. Operating directly in the field, you will initially oversee a regional portfolio of 4 to 6 partner practices, with the opportunity to scale your territory footprint as our market expansion continues into Texas and beyond.

You will partner closely with Owner Doctors and Office Managers to optimize daily schedules, analyze P&L performance, streamline revenue cycle management, and build sustainable operational excellence. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role requiring proactive problem-solving, high emotional intelligence, and the willingness to travel by air with overnight stays for at least 50% of the month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Multi-Site Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, clinical capacity utilization, and workflow efficiency across an initial portfolio of 4 to 6 dental practices in FL and GA, driving readiness for future regional growth.

  • Financial & P&L Accountability: Analyze monthly P&Ls, production, collection ratios, and practice KPIs. Identify operational friction, formulate targeted action plans, and maximize EBITDA performance to achieve monthly practice bonus metrics.

  • Leadership Coaching & Development: Directly mentor, coach, and hold Office Managers accountable to operational standards, staffing efficiency, and practice goals.

  • Doctor Partnership & Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based collaborative relationships with partner dentists, balancing clinical autonomy with business excellence.

  • On-Site Practice Audits & Field Travel: Conduct frequent on-site practice evaluations to assess patient experience, team culture, billing compliance, and operational systems.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with ADC Central Support teams-including Talent Acquisition, HR, Finance, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)-to resolve operational bottlenecks and support seamless practice integrations.

  • Executive Reporting: Provide clear financial forecasts, market analysis, and practice turnaround strategies to senior executive leadership.

What We Are Looking For

  • Dental Operations Experience (Required): 5+ years of direct multi-site or regional dental practice operations leadership (DSO or multi-practice group experience strongly preferred).

  • Financial Acumen: Proven mastery in analyzing dental P&Ls, operating budgets, hygiene capacity, and revenue cycle performance metrics.

  • Field Travel Flexibility (Required): Willingness and ability to travel by air with overnight stays at least 50% of the month across assigned multi-state territories.

  • Systems Proficiency: Experience with enterprise dental software and reporting analytics (Denticon, Jarvis Analytics, Dentrix, or similar platforms).

  • Communication & Change Management: Exceptional conflict-resolution, doctor-partnering, and team-building skills. Comfort having courageous, accountability-focused conversations while maintaining positive workplace relationships.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Competitive Executive Earning Potential: $100,000 – $120,000 base salary plus a lucrative monthly performance bonus pool ($1,000 per office/month based on EBITDA targets).

  • High-Impact Leadership: Direct visibility with executive leadership during an exciting phase of regional enterprise expansion.

  • Scalable Territory: Start with a focused 4–6 practice footprint with direct growth potential as new locations join the region.

  • Unique Partnership Culture: Work within a doctor-centric partnership model that values private practice legacy while providing elite group infrastructure.
