Overview Responsible for overseeing the prebilling and follow-up of reimbursement functions of home health branches within an assigned region. Partners closely with the regional leadership, branch operations, and other revenue cycle teams to optimize financial performance and ensure timely billing of compliant claims. Responsible for preparing and presenting weekly summaries with clear deadlines and action items to their regional operationsleadership teams. This position is eligible for 100% remote but the employee must reside in a state where Enhabit currently operates. Responsibilities Complete daily follow up of incoming held claims and updates or releases appropriately. Follow up on open billing issues, as identified, within two working days. Evolve/Implement a simple weekly dashboard for operations leadership for the region they are supporting to include unbilled action items, DSO, held claims drivers, and top referral/physician issues. Act as a point of contact between branches and revenue cycle teams to ensure documentation holding claims is actively being pursued and obtained. Manage billing responsibilities to keep unbilled at 20% or less of total branch revenue. Perform face to face (F2F) reviews for new admissions. Perform quality assurance (QA) audits as directed. Periodic travel to regional offices across region as needed (<20%). Demonstrate qualifications and competencies consistently and reliably. Complete all other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Required to have High School Diploma or equivalent.• Preferred minimum three years of experience with Medicare and other Episodic related billing functions.• Preferred previous experience preparing and presenting key performance indicators (KPI) trends to leadership.• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint and excel.• Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives. * Enhabit does not waive this essential function by permitting duties to be performed remotely on occasion to accommodate temporary personal needs, such as appointments, or to operate in crises beyond its control, such as during a natural disaster or pandemic.
