My client, an international manufacturer of electronic components, is looking for a commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to develop business across Sweden, Denmark and Norway, managing relationships with OEMs and distribution partners throughout the Nordic region.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining new business development with strategic account management. You’ll have the autonomy to shape your regional sales approach, identify new design-in opportunities and grow existing customer relationships, while working closely with international colleagues across sales, engineering and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth across Sweden, Denmark and Norway, developing both existing accounts and new customer relationships.
- Build relationships with OEMs, distributors and other key stakeholders across the electronic components market.
- Identify new design-in opportunities and develop a pipeline of projects to support long-term revenue growth.
- Lead customer discussions, commercial negotiations and sales opportunities from initial contact through to agreement.
- Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to support customer requirements and develop new business.
- Monitor market activity, identify growth opportunities and contribute to the wider regional sales strategy.
- Travel regularly across the Nordic countries to meet customers and strengthen partnerships.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- At least five years’ experience in sales or business development within electronic components, connectors or a related technical industry.
- A proven track record in winning new business, developing OEM accounts and growing distribution channels.
- Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with customers and international teams.
- Fluent English; Swedish is highly desirable, with additional Nordic languages an advantage.
- An engineering, business or economics degree, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- A self-motivated and independent approach, with the ability to manage a regional territory effectively.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
What’s on Offer?
- A home-based position with responsibility for the Nordic territory.
- Competitive salary and benefits, including a company car and bonus scheme.
- The opportunity to develop business for an established international technology manufacturer.
- Significant autonomy to build customer relationships, identify new opportunities and influence regional growth.
