  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealer partners to drive engagement, increase financing utilization, and maximize business opportunities.
  • Identify and reengage inactive, nonparticipating, or underperforming dealer partners to improve sales performance.
  • Conduct regular in-person dealer visits, sales presentations, and training sessions to promote Aqua Finance's financing products and services.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Aqua Finance's lending policies, procedures, and financing solutions to effectively communicate their value to dealer partners.
  • Independently manage an assigned geographic territory, including prospecting, scheduling appointments, developing sales plans, and achieving established performance goals.
  • Research market trends, competitor offerings, industry developments, and emerging opportunities within the home improvement industry.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations tailored to prospective and existing dealer partners.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support dealer onboarding, resolve dealer concerns, and ensure a positive partner experience.
  • Assist in resolving dealer complaints, financing concerns, and operational challenges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Represent Aqua Finance at industry trade shows, networking events, and other business development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of dealer interactions, prospecting activities, sales performance, and territory development efforts.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports regarding sales activities, financing volume, territory performance, expenses, and business development opportunities.
  • Develop sales forecasts, territory plans, and budgets as requested.
  • Assist with premium recapture, lien verification, and dealer repurchases as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience required.
  • 5 years of outside sales or related professional sales experience required.
  • Previous professional experience within the home improvement industry required.
  • Financial services or consumer financing industry experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience developing new business relationships, prospecting, and managing an assigned sales territory required.

  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative selling skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective sales presentations, required.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment required.
  • Experience selling financing solutions to home improvement contractors, dealers, or service providers preferred.
  • Understanding of indirect consumer financing, including point-of-sale financing programs, preferred.
