The company is currently going through a period of growth and organizational transformation, creating an opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a key role in shaping the people strategy and supporting the business through its next stage of development.
The Role
We are looking for a Regional Senior HR Business Partner to support the Japan business while working closely with international stakeholders across the region.
This is a highly visible position combining strategic HR partnering, organizational development and selected HR operational oversight.
You will work closely with senior business leaders and HR leadership to align people strategy with business priorities, while supporting organizational growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to senior business leaders in Japan and internationally
- Lead workforce planning, organizational development and talent initiatives in line with business growth
- Partner with management on complex employee relations and labor-related matters
- Support organizational transformation, change management and the evolution of HR processes
- Work closely with regional and global HR teams to implement people strategies and initiatives
- Provide oversight and guidance to HR operations, ensuring effective delivery across the organization
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in HR, with strong experience as an HR Business Partner
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders in an international organization
- Strong understanding of employee relations, workforce planning and organizational development
- Experience working across multiple countries or with regional/global HR teams
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions
- Native-level Japanese and Business-level English
- Experience in a technology, professional services, manufacturing, or other complex international environment is preferred
