Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to move from hospital-based nursing into a remote telehealth role? Kantoko is looking for an AHPRA-registered nurse with at least three years of postgraduate clinical experience and a background in critical care and/or mental health. This is a remote contractor role working three to four days per week. It could suit an Emergency Department, critical care or mental health nurse looking for a career change that still uses their clinical assessment, triage and patient care skills. You’ll work from home and support adults receiving ADHD care through telehealth, alongside Kantoko’s GPs, psychiatrists and Customer Care team. Our Psychiatry, GP, Nursing and Customer Care teams work closely together, supported by technology built around the way care is delivered. For the adults we support, that means fewer handovers, less repetition and a team that stays with them for the longer term. What you’ll be doing You’ll support people as they move through their care with Kantoko. Your work will include: Screening and triaging people joining the service Conducting clinical reviews and check-ins via telehealth Completing clinical assessments and risk assessments Responding to clinical escalations from our Customer Care team Identifying when someone needs further review or escalation Working closely with our GPs and psychiatrists Documenting assessments clearly and keeping the wider care team informed Helping us improve our clinical processes and telehealth software through your feedback What we’re looking for You’ll need: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse At least three years of postgraduate clinical experience A background in critical care and/or mental health nursing Experience in an area such as emergency nursing, psychiatric nursing or mental health triage Strong clinical assessment, patient triage and risk assessment skills Confidence making decisions and working independently in a remote clinical role Clear written and verbal communication The ability to work three to four weekdays each week Experience in ADHD care or telehealth is helpful, but it isn’t essential. What matters is that you’re interested in mental health, ready to learn and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team. A different way to use your nursing experience: You’ll use your clinical judgement through telehealth triage, clinical reviews, risk assessment and ongoing mental health care. A team around you: You’ll work closely with Kantoko’s GPs, psychiatrists and Customer Care team. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, with clinical support available when a situation is more complex. Your feedback will help improve the care experience for both clinicians and patients.
