Leidos, a leading defense, intelligence, and technology company, is seeking motivated and aspiring technology students for our Summer 2027 Internship Program (Starts May 2027). As a Regulatory Document Intern, you will join our Digital Sector supporting the Program Management Office team on the Defense Enclave Services (DES) contract. This position is 100% remote (with a primary focus on U.S. Eastern time zones), offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience modernizing enterprise-level systems, improving workflows, and contributing to real-world engineering challenges within a massive, $600M+ global defense organization.

Are you looking to understand how massive government defense contracts are actually managed and sustained? As an intern on the PMO team, you will assist in managing the critical documentation and contract deliverables undefined

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the tracking, organizing, and management of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables across DES and other division programs.
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of critical document submissions to government customers.
  • Gain hands-on experience helping to prepare, review, and format official reports and deliverables for submission.
  • Participate in team meetings, assisting with the documentation and tracking of action items.
  • Coordinate with technical and operational team members to ensure delivery timelines and compliance requirements are understood.
  • Maintain highly organized records of all documentation and delivery statuses.
  • Support on-contract growth efforts within the division.
  • Support ongoing process improvement efforts, AI integration, and documentation standardization initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree (Business, English, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred).
  • Basic proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team environment and manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen. A security clearance is required to start. Leidos will sponsor if necessary.

Location: This internship is 100% remote. Candidates must be based in the United States and have a reliable internet connection to support remote work and video conferencing capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in government contracting, technical writing, or program operations.
  • Experience with academic or internship-based report writing, editing, or documentation.
  • Familiarity with project coordination, administrative support tasks, or SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with IT and software terminology.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to meet strict delivery deadlines.
