Job Description
Are you a proactive professional who understands Financial Markets and knows how to turn complex regulatory requirements into successful project deliveries? Do you enjoy taking ownership, connecting stakeholders and driving change from start to finish? Then this could be an exciting next step in your career!
We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Delivery Lead who combines knowledge of Financial Markets products with strong project delivery skills, analytical thinking and a hands-on mentality.
In this role, you will be the key point of contact for Regulatory Transaction Reporting (RTR) within business and technology change initiatives. You will take ownership of projects, bring the right people together and ensure regulatory reporting requirements are successfully translated into practical solutions.
You will join an international Financial Markets environment, taking the lead in an ongoing regulatory reporting project in Luxembourg as it moves into its next phase, with additional initiatives involving China expected in the future.
What makes this opportunity particularly interesting? We are not necessarily looking for someone with the longest track record. Your mindset, curiosity, communication skills and ability to take the lead are just as important. If you understand Financial Markets, enjoy solving complex challenges and have the drive to make things happen, we would love to hear from you.
What will you do?
As a Regulatory Reporting Delivery Lead, you will take ownership of regulatory reporting workstreams and drive change initiatives from initial impact assessment through to successful implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead regulatory reporting projects: Take ownership of projects and change initiatives, managing priorities, dependencies, risks and delivery timelines.
- Drive international initiatives: Contribute to regulatory reporting developments involving Luxembourg and upcoming initiatives related to China.
- Act as the Regulatory Reporting SPOC: Be the central point of contact between Front Office, Product Management, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal and other stakeholders.
- Translate regulatory requirements: Work closely with regulatory SMEs to understand MiFIR, EMIR, MiFID II and SFTR requirements and translate them into actionable business and functional requirements.
- Assess business and technology changes: Evaluate the reporting impact of new Financial Markets products, system changes and business initiatives.
- Work with data: Perform data analysis, investigate reporting dependencies and data lineage, and identify potential reporting issues.
- Coordinate end-to-end delivery: Support solution design, testing strategies, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation and production readiness.
- Manage stakeholders: Facilitate discussions, challenge assumptions, align priorities and ensure decisions are made.
- Improve reporting processes: Identify regulatory risks, control gaps and opportunities to strengthen reporting quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who combines Financial Markets knowledge with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to deliver results.
What you bring:
- Strong knowledge of Financial Markets products is essential. You understand how financial instruments and transactions work and how they move through the trade lifecycle.
- Experience in regulatory transaction reporting, regulatory change or a closely related Financial Markets environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as MiFIR, MiFID II, EMIR and/or SFTR.
- Experience coordinating projects, delivering change initiatives or taking ownership of workstreams.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis and an understanding of data flows.
- The ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, independent and solution-oriented mindset.
- The confidence to challenge stakeholders, take initiative and drive decisions.
- A genuine interest in regulatory reporting, Financial Markets and business transformation.
Nice to have:
- Experience with reconciliation processes and reporting controls.
- Experience working with international stakeholders or cross-border regulatory initiatives.
- Familiarity with both Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies.
- Experience coordinating regulatory reporting testing, validation and implementation activities.
Benefits
Why this role?
This is an opportunity to make a real impact in an international Financial Markets environment.
You will have the freedom to take ownership, drive meaningful change and work closely with professionals across business, technology and regulatory functions.
Rather than focusing purely on years of experience, we value initiative, curiosity, accountability and the ability to bring people together.
If you are someone who sees what needs to be done, takes action and enjoys turning complex challenges into successful deliveries, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
- Gross monthly salary between € 6.729 - € 8.250 based on 36 hours per week and depending on your experience.
- An initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.
- A 36-hour working week.
- Holiday allowance, 13th-month and pension scheme.
- Hybrid working arrangement with commuting and home-office allowance.
We would love to hear from you! Apply and discover how you can contribute to the future of regulatory reporting within Financial Markets. Applications are open until Monday, 26 October 2026, end of day.
