Release Manager (f/m/x)

Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

Our AFC(Anti-Financial Crime) team is responsible for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. Risk types related to Anti-Financial Crime are consolidated in a comprehensive and effective risk management framework that covers Anti-Money-Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Bribery & Corruption as well as Anti-Fraud & Investigations.

Responsibilities:

• Planning the release windows and release lifecycle(SDLC) 
• Managing risks that may affect release scope 
• Ensuring releases are delivered based on the requirements  
• Managing relationships and coordinating with different teams(such as Unix Admin, DBAs, L2&L3 support teams) 
• Creating new CI/CD pipelines and maintaining existing ones for release process automation 
  
  
  

Skills:

• Core technologies: Strong understanding of mission-critical IT applications, Linux and application servers such as Tomcat and WebLogic.
• DevOps and CI/CD tools: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Artifactory, Ansible, Maven and SonarQube.
• Automation and ways of working: Working knowledge of Shell scripting, Python, Perl or Groovy, plus Jira and Confluence.
• Database and networking: Practical experience with SQL and Oracle databases, API management and application protocols including TLS/SSL, HTTP(S) and DNS.
• Cloud and containers: Experience with Google Cloud Platform, OpenShift, Docker or Kubernetes is an advantage; willingness to learn is valued.
