The Administrative Assistant position offers the opportunity for those with competency in computer literacy to help clients create accurate and quality OEM technical publications. Armed with your general business experience, you will be working around the newest vehicles, entering and reviewing data to ensure that the clients technical publications are accurate and easy to understand by the rest of the automotive field. Candidates will: Need to have an aptitude that promotes the continuous improvement mentality Interface directly with the client, so there will be a need for the candidate to be able to display exemplary customer service skills in a professional office setting as well as the vehicle lab environment Support Operations Leadership in a variety of ways over a variety of unique assignments Follow check-in procedures for visitors to the work site and ensure that visitors are directed appropriately Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as needed basis Receiving shipped materials as required by management Fill out all company documents such as timesheets, job tracking logs, job note databases, etc. Ensure accurate and proper reporting on vehicle project progress to leadership. Responsible for effective communication with Leadership and support of Leadership responsibilities About You: Sufficient prior applicable/similar work experience Previous experience with GM vehicle service and working knowledge of shop safety, preferred Individual must possess good PC skills, strong typed/written and oral communication with the ability to communicate clearly Be able to effectively work in an office setting and (when necessary) work effectively within a repair facility environment Willing to take ownership of the information and continuously look for improvement, plan ahead, suggest solutions, and work with minimal supervision Well organized and possess great attention to detail Positive attitude toward change and inevitable mid-project course corrections Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment, individually, and in team environments equally and efficiently Possess a willingness to learn and ability to be mentored Education Requirements: High-School/GED or equivalent Education beyond High-School, referred.
