Remote | AI Consulting Domain Expert — $100–$200/hour

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced professionals in strategy consulting, management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, operations, and related analytically rigorous fields to contribute to an advanced AI training and evaluation project focused on business reasoning, professional writing, prompt development, quality assurance, and model-output assessment.

Selected professionals will evaluate and refine AI-generated business content, develop structured prompts, review strategy and market-analysis materials, conduct rubric-based assessments, and provide clear recommendations on model performance and content quality. The work is particularly suited to professionals experienced in client-facing analysis, executive communication, structured problem solving, and high-quality business writing. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

AI Output Evaluation

• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, and business relevance
• Assess alignment with defined business objectives and project requirements
• Identify weak reasoning, unsupported conclusions, or incomplete analysis
• Review outputs for logical consistency and professional quality
• Provide structured recommendations for improving model performance

Strategy & Business Content Development

• Author and review strategy reports, business cases, and executive summaries
• Develop and refine market analyses and recommendation materials
• Assess whether business conclusions are supported by underlying evidence
• Improve structure, clarity, and analytical depth across deliverables
• Adapt content for senior and executive audiences

Prompt Authoring & Refinement

• Develop prompts for complex business and consulting scenarios
• Refine existing prompts to improve clarity, structure, and analytical rigor
• Design tasks that test structured problem solving and business judgement
• Evaluate how prompt design affects model behaviour and output quality
• Contribute to development of robust consulting-focused evaluation tasks

Rubric-Based Evaluation & Quality Assurance

• Assess AI outputs using detailed evaluation rubrics
• Apply consistent standards across repeated review tasks
• Evaluate correctness, completeness, relevance, and professional quality
• Identify edge cases or ambiguous outputs requiring deeper judgement
• Support quality assurance and reviewer calibration across project workflows

Market & Business Analysis

• Review market analyses, strategic assessments, and business recommendations
• Interpret quantitative and qualitative findings
• Evaluate assumptions, evidence, and logical structure
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or unsupported recommendations
• Translate complex findings into clear business conclusions

Research & Fact Checking

• Conduct independent research to validate business and market assertions
• Fact-check AI-generated claims and supporting evidence
• Identify outdated, unsupported, or misleading information
• Compare outputs against reliable sources where appropriate
• Document findings clearly and concisely

Professional Writing & Editing

• Produce high-quality business and technical written materials
• Edit reports, recommendations, and executive communications
• Improve clarity, precision, structure, and readability
• Translate complex analysis into concise professional language
• Maintain strong editorial standards across project deliverables

Data Annotation & Content Review

• Annotate data and business content according to project guidelines
• Review content for analytical and factual quality
• Interpret findings and classify outputs consistently
• Identify recurring quality issues and recommend improvements
• Contribute to reliable datasets for AI training and evaluation

Ideal Profile

• 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, operations, or a comparable analytically rigorous environment
• Strong critical-thinking and analytical-reasoning skills
• Demonstrated experience producing professional reports and recommendations
• Excellent business-writing and executive-communication skills
• Experience creating client presentations, recommendation memos, market analyses, or business cases
• Strong structured problem-solving ability
• Strong independent research and fact-checking skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance
• Strong professional editing ability
• Experience with data interpretation and content evaluation
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-output evaluation, data annotation, or rubric-based assessment is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required
• Master's, JD, MBA, PhD, or another advanced degree is advantageous but not required
• No prior AI-training experience is required

Engagement Details

• Part-time independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote
• Compensation: $100–$200/hour
• Work will involve consulting-style analysis, AI-output evaluation, prompt development, market analysis, business-case review, executive communication, research, fact checking, data annotation, and quality assurance
• Strong analytical judgement, structured problem solving, and professional writing are central to this engagement
• Assignments may involve strategy reports, market analyses, client-style presentations, recommendation memos, business cases, executive summaries, model outputs, and structured evaluation rubrics
• Prior experience with prompt engineering, AI evaluation, RLHF, or data annotation is helpful but not required
• Project scope, workload, business topics, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, consulting firm, institution, or other third party
