Remote Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer with expertise in TypeScript and NestJS to develop scalable, high-performance backend services that handle large transaction volumes and complex integrations.

In this role, you will

design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures.

Optimize workflows and data models for distributed, real-time operations.

Build reliable asynchronous processing systems and ensure platform observability through monitoring and logging.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Participate in architectural discussions, influence platform strategy, and contribute to developer experience and documentation.

Take ownership from design to deployment, leveraging modern tools and best practices.

Qualifications include:

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with NestJS or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and troubleshooting in production.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently remotely.

Nice-to-haves include experience with queue management tools, cloud infrastructure, high-volume systems, and AI-assisted development tools.
