Remote BESS Engineer II – Design, Optimize & Deliver Grid Storage

Role: BESS Engineer II, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop BESS solutions adhering to industry standards for safety and reliability.
• Collaborate with electrical, civil, SCADA, and HV engineering teams to ensure project success.
• Review specifications, support procurement activities, and provide field support during construction.
• Focus on power systems and BESS equipment to deliver efficient energy storage solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of power systems and BESS technology.
• Experience in project design, development, and implementation of energy storage projects.
• Ability to review technical specifications and support procurement processes.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed; this role is fully remote.
