About the Role

This is a full-time Bookkeeper role supporting a fast-paced digital marketing agency with operations spanning Australia and Singapore. You'll be the financial backbone for two registered entities, ensuring clean books, accurate records, and timely reporting across both jurisdictions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure and detail, enjoys working with cloudbased tools, and wants to be part of a dynamic, creative business environment. You'll need to be comfortable managing books for multiple entities and preparing reports that matter. This is a hands-on bookkeeping role focused on daily transactional accuracy, reconciliations, and reporting preparation. It is not a strategic finance or advisory position—you'll be responsible for maintaining excellent records and ensuring compliance across two entities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records for two registered entities (Australia and Singapore)
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and ensure all transactions are correctly coded Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment cycles
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports for management review
  • Manage and reconcile credit card transactions, expense claims, and petty cash
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements for both Australian and Singapore entities
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors during tax preparation and audit periods
  • Monitor cash flow and flag any discrepancies or issues to leadership promptly
  • Maintain organized digital filing systems for invoices, receipts, and financial documentation
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate historical data
  • Assist with payroll processing and superannuation compliance as required


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting service-based or agency businesses
  • Proven experience using Xero for day-to-day bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Experience supporting digital marketing agencies or similar fast-paced creative businesses
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, GST, BAS, and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing books for multiple entities or across multiple jurisdictions is highly regarded
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for liaising with stakeholders
