Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chinese Teacher. The teacher will deliver engaging online Chinese lessons to learners at various proficiency levels, following YPE’s curriculum and educational standards. Day-to-day tasks include planning and structuring lessons, preparing teaching materials, assessing learner progress, and providing clear feedback and support to help learners achieve their language goals. The role involves maintaining effective communication with students and, where applicable, guardians, and participating in occasional training or meetings to align with YPE’s educational and social impact objectives.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Chinese Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to instruct learners of different ages and levels.
• Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, goal-oriented lessons and learning activities.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, feedback, and interaction in an online learning environment.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written), with clear pronunciation and the ability to explain grammar, vocabulary, and culture.
• Relevant teaching certification, language teaching qualification, or degree in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience teaching Chinese online or in-person, and comfort using digital tools and learning platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and adapt lessons to diverse learner needs.
