Remote Dispatch Coordinator

2. About the Opportunity:

The Remote Dispatch Coordinator serves as the initial contact for customers during emergencies, managing communications and coordinating response teams. This role is essential for ensuring timely and effective dispatch of restoration services, directly impacting customer experience and operational efficiency. The position is fully remote, requiring close collaboration with various internal teams to maintain seamless service delivery.

3. Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming emergency and customer service calls with professionalism and empathy.

• Collect accurate information to dispatch appropriate crews promptly.

• Schedule emergency response and restoration services using job management software.

• Coordinate technician schedules and adjust priorities in real-time.

• Provide ongoing updates and service follow-up to customers.

• Maintain detailed job documentation and data entry.

• Manage general customer inquiries and office communications.

• Collaborate remotely with Operations, Business Development, and Production teams.

• Support additional administrative and customer service tasks as needed.

4. Requirements:

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

• Strong customer focus with friendly and compassionate communication.

• Highly organized with attention to detail.

• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.

• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn scheduling and dispatch software quickly.

• Self-motivated and capable of independent remote work.

• Reliable and committed to exceptional customer service.

• Team player with effective remote communication skills.

• Preferred: Experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, call centers, or administration.

• Preferred: Experience in restoration, construction, or plumbing.

• Preferred: Prior remote work experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new software.

• High-speed internet and a dedicated home workspace.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Pay range: $22 to $25 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
