Job Summary: We are seeking a highly personable, organized, and bilingual Remote Employee Benefits Onboarding & Support Specialist (English, Spanish) to serve as a key point of contact for employees throughout onboarding, benefits enrollment, and ongoing support. This role will educate employees about available healthcare benefits, guide them through enrollment and activation, assist with the company Health dashboard, and explain program requirements, payroll deductions, reimbursements, and healthcare resources in clear and reassuring language. The ideal candidate will be confident communicating one-on-one and in group education sessions in both English and Spanish, while providing excellent employee support, troubleshooting routine issues, and knowing when to escalate clinical, technical, payroll, or administrative questions. This is not a generic call-center role; we are looking for someone who is employee-focused, proactive, accurate, and comfortable working with benefits and payroll information to help ensure a smooth and positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities: Employee Onboarding & Enrollment Conduct employee onboarding and benefit-education sessions by Zoom, phone, and when needed in person. Guide employees through the Benfa Health dashboard and enrollment process. Explain what employees need to complete to activate and maintain access to applicable benefits. Help employees understand the MSK/movement-care component, including assessments, personalized care plans, ongoing engagement, and clinician support. Follow up with employees who have not completed required onboarding steps and help resolve barriers to enrollment. Support new-hire enrollment and ongoing employee activation. Benefit Education Clearly explain available healthcare resources, which may include personalized MSK and movement support, virtual primary care, urgent care resources, medication/pharmacy support, healthcare navigation, dashboard tools, and additional benefits added to the Benfa platform. Do not provide medical advice; route clinical questions to the appropriate participating healthcare provider. Payroll & Program Explanation Explain in plain language what a pre-tax benefit election means and why a program deduction may appear on a paycheck. Explain how the applicable reimbursement may appear and how the deduction and reimbursement interact under the employer program. Help employees locate program-related items on their paystub and understand participation requirements. Communicate the approved program structure accurately without providing personal tax, legal, payroll, or medical advice. Employee Customer Support Serve as a primary first point of contact when employees call or email Benfa Health. Answer general program, benefit, enrollment, and dashboard questions. Assist with basic account-access issues and explain onboarding or participation requirements. Help employees understand program-related paystub entries. Escalate payroll, eligibility, clinical, technical, or administrative issues to the correct Benfa team member. Direct employees to the appropriate participating healthcare or benefit provider when provider-specific assistance is required. Follow through so employee questions are resolved, not simply transferred. Perform other duties related to the position as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Proficient level of English (written and spoken). Proficient level of Spanish (written and spoken). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients. Comfortable speaking with employees from a wide range of backgrounds. Ability to explain benefit and payroll concepts simply and clearly. Strong customer-service mindset; patient, professional, and confident on phone and Zoom. Comfortable learning healthcare-benefit terminology and multiple provider programs. Comfortable using dashboards, email, CRM/support systems, and Zoom. Good judgment about when to escalate rather than guess or provide an incorrect answer. Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and follow established processes. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and workflows. Creative, resourceful, and proactive with an out-of-the-box mindset. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and standard business tools (Google Drive, email, spreadsheets, document management). Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time (New York) business hours and adapt to business needs. Interested in long-term career opportunities. Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet. Professional home workstation capable of supporting uninterrupted remote work. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in employee benefits, healthcare, HR, payroll, benefits enrollment, patient/member services, insurance/member support, or healthcare customer service, preferred. Experience conducting employee benefit orientations or enrollment meetings. Familiarity with pre-tax employee benefits and reading paystubs. Experience supporting Spanish-speaking employee populations. Warm, approachable, and patient with employees. Clear and confident communication skills. Proactive and strong attention to accuracy with problem-solving skills. Employee-focused and committed to a positive support experience. Compensation & Benefits: 100% remote work. Compensation in USD. Full-time position with 40 hours weekly. Please note that this is a long-term opportunity. Great work environment with potential for growth.
