We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced investment and finance professionals with strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, investment analysis, due diligence, capital markets, and real-world transaction work to contribute to an advanced AI training and financial reasoning project.

Selected professionals will evaluate how advanced AI systems handle valuation, markets, financial analysis, and investment decision-making, while creating high-quality reference material grounded in practical deal experience. The work requires strong financial judgement, rigorous analytical thinking, and the ability to identify unrealistic assumptions or weak reasoning in complex finance scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modelling & Valuation Evaluation

• Assess AI-generated outputs involving financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis
• Review assumptions, methodologies, calculations, and conclusions for technical accuracy
• Evaluate whether valuation approaches are appropriate to the company, transaction, or market context
• Identify unrealistic assumptions, weak logic, or unsupported conclusions
• Apply real-world transaction judgement when reviewing model outputs

Investment Analysis & Due Diligence

• Evaluate scenarios involving investment opportunities, company performance, and transaction dynamics
• Review financial and operational information from an investor or deal-team perspective
• Identify key risks, diligence gaps, and material considerations
• Assess whether conclusions are supported by available evidence
• Apply practical experience from investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, growth equity, or related fields

Capital Markets & Financial Reasoning

• Analyse model outputs involving capital markets, financing, and market-based reasoning
• Assess how well financial relationships, market assumptions, and investment dynamics are understood
• Identify inconsistencies in reasoning around capital structure, returns, risk, or market conditions
• Compare alternative analytical approaches and explain relevant trade-offs
• Contribute domain expertise grounded in real-world finance practice

Expert Prompts & Reference Answers

• Create expert-level prompts based on realistic investment, valuation, and deal scenarios
• Develop high-quality reference answers that reflect professional finance standards
• Document assumptions and analytical reasoning clearly
• Ensure reference material is technically rigorous, realistic, and reproducible
• Contribute examples that meaningfully test advanced financial reasoning

AI Output Review & Domain Feedback

• Flag errors, weak reasoning, unrealistic assumptions, and incomplete analysis in AI-generated responses
• Provide concise, actionable feedback explaining how outputs should be improved
• Distinguish superficial financial reasoning from genuinely sound analysis
• Contribute observations that help improve model behaviour across finance-related tasks
• Maintain consistent evaluation standards across diverse scenarios

Ideal Profile

• At least 1 year of experience at a well-known financial institution, investment firm, or legitimate startup
• Relevant backgrounds may include investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, growth equity, or closely related finance roles
• At least part of the relevant experience should have been gained within approximately the past 7 years
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
• Practical experience with investment analysis, due diligence, or transaction work
• Strong understanding of capital markets and financial-analysis principles
• Excellent written English and ability to explain financial reasoning clearly
• Strong analytical judgement and attention to detail
• Undergraduate degree from a highly ranked university is preferred
• Candidates based in English-speaking countries are preferred
• Ability to translate practical finance experience into structured evaluation and feedback

Engagement Details

• Independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote
• Compensation: $245–$280/hour
• Work will involve financial modelling, valuation, investment analysis, due diligence, capital-markets reasoning, and AI-output evaluation
• Strong real-world finance and transaction experience is central to this engagement
• Assignments may include expert prompt development, reference-answer creation, and structured review of model responses
• Project scope, workload, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, fund, portfolio company, institution, or other third party
