We’re looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Remote Junior Cybersecurity Incident Coordinator to support our incident response and security operations teams.
In this role, you’ll help coordinate the administrative and communication tasks involved in cybersecurity incidents. You’ll assist with maintaining incident records, tracking response activities, documenting timelines, and ensuring that relevant teams receive accurate updates throughout the incident management process.
This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates, career changers, and aspiring cybersecurity professionals who want to enter incident response without needing extensive technical experience.
Previous professional cybersecurity experience is not required. Candidates with foundational IT knowledge, strong organizational skills, customer support experience, or experience coordinating tasks and maintaining records are encouraged to apply.
**Location:** Fully remote, with Dubai and UAE-based applicants welcome, subject to employment eligibility.
**Salary:** AED 9,000–13,000 per month, depending on skills and qualifications.
**Employment type:** Full-time, permanent.
## Key Responsibilities
* Assist with recording and tracking cybersecurity incidents in internal case management systems.
* Maintain accurate incident timelines, activity logs, and response documentation.
* Coordinate communications between SOC analysts, IT teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Help monitor incident response tasks and follow up on outstanding actions.
* Assist with preparing incident summaries, status reports, and post-incident documentation.
* Ensure that incident records contain the required information and supporting evidence.
* Help schedule incident review meetings and track agreed follow-up actions.
* Escalate urgent issues to the appropriate team according to established procedures.
* Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive security information.
* Support continuous improvements to incident coordination and documentation processes.
## Candidate Requirements
* A genuine interest in cybersecurity, incident response, or IT operations.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
* Attention to detail when recording events and maintaining documentation.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and follow established escalation procedures.
* Confidence communicating with different teams in a professional manner.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
* Willingness to learn cybersecurity incident management processes.
The following are advantageous but not mandatory:
* A degree or diploma in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, business operations, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of common cyber threats, phishing, malware, and unauthorized access.
* Familiarity with ticketing or case management platforms.
* Experience in customer support, operations coordination, administration, or reporting.
* Introductory knowledge of incident response frameworks or security operations.
* Relevant online courses, university projects, or entry-level cybersecurity training.
No previous professional cybersecurity experience is required. Transferable coordination, communication, and documentation skills are welcome.
## What We Offer
* Fully remote working arrangements.
* Proposed monthly salary of AED 9,000–13,000.
* Onboarding and guidance from experienced cybersecurity professionals.
* Practical exposure to incident response workflows and security operations.
* Opportunities to develop incident management, reporting, and security knowledge.
* Support for relevant training and professional certifications.
* Collaboration with SOC, IT, risk, and incident response teams.
* Potential career progression into Incident Response Analyst, SOC Analyst, Security Operations Coordinator, or Cybersecurity Analyst roles.
* A supportive environment that values accuracy, teamwork, and continuous learning.
## Our Ideal Candidate
You enjoy keeping information organized, coordinating activities, communicating clearly, and making sure important tasks are completed. You may be a recent graduate, an aspiring cybersecurity professional, or someone transitioning from administration, customer support, project coordination, or IT support.
You do not need to be an expert incident responder on day one. We value reliability, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.
If you’re ready to start a cybersecurity career and help teams respond to security incidents efficiently, we encourage you to apply.
**Work arrangement:** Fully remote, subject to UAE employment and location requirements.
**Salary note:** AED 9,000–13,000 per month is a proposed hiring estimate for this sample job advertisement, not a verified market benchmark or a confirmed employer offer.
