Remote Lead Technical Accountant – New Products & Services

We are seeking a Technical Accounting Lead to support pricing and packaging initiatives by collaborating with Product, Finance, Legal, and Deal Desk teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with cross-functional teams to assess revenue recognition impacts of product and pricing decisions
• Leading ASC 606 accounting evaluations for go-to-market strategies, including preparing detailed memos
• Designing scalable processes to support dynamic pricing and revenue growth
• Supporting external audits by maintaining robust internal controls related to revenue and pricing
• Managing the item catalog in NetSuite to ensure proper configuration based on revenue conclusions

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related experience
• 5-8 years in revenue or technical accounting roles
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606, including judgment-heavy topics
• Understanding of order-to-cash systems like NetSuite and Salesforce
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex concepts for cross-functional teams
• Experience researching and presenting technical accounting positions

Preferred skills:

• CPA certification or progress toward licensure
• Experience with ASC 606 in SaaS or tech companies
• Adaptability, curiosity, and collaborative mindset
