Primavera Talent is proud to partner with Forever Fit Physical Therapy & Wellness to find an exceptional Remote Medical Billing Specialist to join their growing, patient-centered team.

This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity for an English-speaking professional based in Colombia with experience in U.S. healthcare billing.

At Forever Fit, patients are treated like family - and accurate, proactive billing plays a critical role in protecting that experience. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and confident navigating U.S. insurance systems who takes pride in ensuring services are reimbursed correctly and efficiently.

Location: Remote (Colombia-based)

Compensation: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (42hrs per week) aligned to Eastern Time

What you’ll be doing:

• Submitting electronic insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
• Researching and resolving outstanding claims through insurance portals and phone communication
• Verifying patient eligibility and insurance benefits
• Securing prior authorizations for services
• Posting insurance and patient payments to accounts
• Contacting patients regarding past-due balances
• Responding to billing-related inquiries from patients with clarity and professionalism
• Receive and process medical records request in a timely manner
• Keeping office email communications up to date throughout the workday
• Collaborating with in-office team members via chat and virtual platforms

This role requires strong follow-through, attention to detail, and comfort advocating for proper reimbursement with insurance carriers.

What you bring:

• 1-3 years of U.S. healthcare experience (medical billing strongly preferred)
• Strong written and spoken English (C1 minimum)
• Confidence making phone calls to insurance carriers and patients
• Ability to analyze accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Ability to maintain strict patient privacy standards (HIPAA awareness)
• Independent work ethic and high accountability
• Internet speed of at least 100 Mbps (private, secure network)
• Quiet, professional work environment suitable for calls and video meetings

Preferred:

• Direct experience in U.S. medical billing
• Medical Billing certification
